The ubiquitous cardboard box: there is no limit to the possibilities for children's play. The cardboard box was inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame in 2006. Since then, hundreds of visitors to The Strong have shared memories or photographs of children at play with boxes. And this is true as far back as cardboard boxes go, including the early 1960s. A freezer box made an especially huge plaything!
