Green Toys, Inc., has a mission to make safe, nontoxic toys. But it also works hard to make the planet a better place to live, work, and manufacture things like toys. The California-based company makes its line of environmentally friendly toys from recycled milk containers. All of its toys are made from recycled materials. The toys also are packaged in boxes and containers made from recycled materials. And because it manufactures its toys in California--not in China as many manufacturers do to save labor costs--it contributes less to greenhouse gases emissions caused by shipping products from far off countries. The toys offered by this eco-friendly, crusading company are sure-to-please classics like dump trucks, recycling trucks (natch), tea sets, tool kits, cooking and dining dishes, and gardening kits.
