doll

The company of Alt, Beck, & Gottschalck began making doll heads in the 1860s and continued production until its factories closed in the 1930s. The company made a variety of glazed and parian dolls and figurines. Most dolls can be identified by the distinctive dark-red, V-shaped accent line between the upper and lower lips.
