"Hannah Montana" is a popular show that first aired on the Disney Channel in 2006. The show launched the career of Miley Cyrus, who play Miley Stewart, an average, 14-year-old Malibu transplant who battles normal teenage angst by day, but is Hannah Montana, teenage singing sensation by night. Since the show's launch, Disney now licenses the production of many Hannah Montana products, and Miley Cyrus performs for sell-out audiences around the country. She is especially appealing with tween girls.
