This Santa Claus figure held a prominent place in the holiday traditions of one family for 50 years. The donor's parents, Roland and Vera Miller, purchased Santa new in the late 1950s or early 1960s and displayed the figure in their dining room during family events into the 1980s. At that point, Santa made the move to the donor's home in the Rochester area and has circulated amongst the homes of the donor's children. The electric motor that moves the figure remains operational.
