Hotel Syracuse, Syracuse, N.Y.

postcard

1928

Travelers often collected postcards of the hotels they visited. Hotel guests enjoyed beautiful architecture, sky-high views, and luxurious rooms, all of which often appeared on souvenir postcards such as this one. Staying in a hotel was one of the main attractions of a trip, as it offered vacationers an escape from daily life but with all the comforts of home and sometimes even more.
