National Toy Hall of Fame Online Collections

The National Toy Hall of Fame^® recognizes toys that have inspired creative play and enjoyed popularity over a sustained period. The prestigious hall annually inducts and showcases new and historic versions of classic toys beloved by generations. To date, 51 toys have been welcomed into the National Toy Hall of Fame. View examples of each of the inductees by browsing the online catalog.

For each object shown there appears a documentary photograph and basic factual information including the maker, material, title, place of origin, and date. For many items, in-depth information may also be provided, such as historical context or specific significance. Learn more indicates that an object record includes further content beyond standard museum cataloging. Please note that many of the items shown online are not on public display.
