ca. 1947

The Keystone Manufacturing Company of Boston made movie projectors when it was first established in the 1920s. In 1940, it began producing dollhouses and continued to offer them for about ten years. This six-room dollhouse made of Masonite sits on a turntable. It featured a circular staircase, metal windows that opened, and a fireplace in the living room. It appeared in the 1947 Sears, Roebuck, & Company Christmas catalogue and sold for $8.29 unfurnished.
